WALLDORF DURGA PUJA 2023
“Aschhe Bochhor Aabar hobe” – Will be continued next year…With this promise on the Final day of 2022 Durga Puja and the Enthusiasm running in our Veins, we are thrilled to announce that we will continue our Walldorf Durga Puja next Year in 2023, but only at a bigger scale. The ideology is simple but the same even this year. This is “Our Durga Puja” where importance lies on both the keywords: “Our” and “Durga Puja”. We believe that 2022 was successful not only because of the blessing of Maa Durga, but also because of the contribution from each and every member. May it be the very first Zoom session or making the Pandal, inviting the guests, arranging the Tea, Bhog, food distribution, Raavan Dahan, Ramleela or the Final Cultural Event, every activity was a manifestation of the seer dedication, sincerity, love and devotion.
Thus, it is high time to start planning for the 2023 Walldorf Durga Puja.
Celebration Dates: October 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th 2023
Venue: Grillhute Walldorf
A perfect balance of faith, festivity & joy
with
Durga Puja
To some, Durga Puja is about faith – glory of Maa Durga and victory over Demon Mahishashur symbolizes good prevailing over evil. The 10-days Puja entails several intricate traditional and religious rituals. But, to others, Durga Puja is about the festivities, mother of all celebrations, immersive week of fun and frolic but also yearlong anticipation and preparation. Notwithstanding age, Durga Puja has something to offer everyone. As we Indians spread across the world, Durga Puja is our nostalgic tryst with our own culture that binds us a community. We the people of “Walldorf Durga Puja”, make our own humble attempt to live the annual celebrations and pass on the batton of tradition to the generations to come. Bolo Durga Mai ki Jai…
